Yang Shen Massage
Relax, Re-align, & Harmonize the Mind and Body the Daoist Medicine Way
Relax, Re-align, & Harmonize
Yang Shen Anmo, or Essence Nourishing Massage, arises from Daoist Medicine’s traditions of Anmo (massage) and Tui Na (clinical bodywork). What sets it apart is its primary focus on nourishing the essence (jing) and life force of the body. Through cultivated touch, qi, blood, and body fluids are guided to circulate smoothly, releasing stagnation from the tissues, joints, acupoints, and meridians. This restores balance within the body’s internal systems, harmonizing qi, essence, and spirit.

Distinct techniques of Yang Shen Anmo use continuous, flowing movements with varied pressure, weaving together structural alignment and energetic guidance. Each session becomes both healing and cultivation, as the practitioner’s presence directs qi transmission while easing the body into harmony.

While all Daoist medicine therapies aim to enhance body, mind, and spirit, Yang Shen Anmo offers a uniquely restorative experience. It invites relaxation while supporting deep alignment, nourishing vitality, and opening the way for internal balance. Like other forms of bodywork, it reduces stress, improves circulation, enhances sleep, relieves pain, and strengthens immunity through the regulation of body fluids. Yet with its Daoist roots, Yang Shen Anmo reaches further by influencing the flow of qi within the meridians, channels, and organs, creating a profound state of renewal and harmony.
